Starting with a question "Is Being Healthy equal to lack of Illness?", the WHO (World Health Organization) has defined that health is " a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing and not merely an absence of disease and infirmity." Health is not merely lack of disease. Absence of diagnosed illness doesn't indicate wellness. Most chronic illnesses start with an unhealthy lifestyle and have developed over time before they have been diagnosed. Shifting from a disease centered mindset to a health and wellbeing centered mindset is the foundation for a happier and more fulfilling life.

What is Integrative Health and Wellbeing?
Integrative Health and Wellbeing is about the entirety of a person balancing mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellness as a whole. It is a dynamic state where a person continues to maximize his or her physical, mental and social functioning in supportive environments to live a full and productive life regardless of gender, age or physical state. No matter where you currently are , you can always set a path to pursue a growing, evolving and more balanced state of health and wellbeing.

We combine the latest findings in health psychology, positive psychology and Duke's Integrative Health coaching model to work with where you are now and to inspire movement towards where you want to be next. The coaching process brings out deeper awareness of where your current state is in terms of physical fitness, spiritual growth, thinking pattern, emotional and relational maturity, and lifestyle influences on your wellbeing.
